Brian Kennedy Jr, M.Ed
Born and raised in Upland, California, Brian played Division I soccer at Providence College, wearing #12 for the Friars. In 2014 the program captured the BIG EAST Championship and reached the NCAA Final Four — both firsts in program history. Two years later the Friars took the BIG EAST Regular Season title and advanced to the NCAA Elite 8. Brian earned his B.A. in 2017 and his M.Ed. in Guidance & Counseling in 2019, and founded The Ballers Kingdom to carry what he learned at the D-I level home to the Inland Empire.
Brian's professional practice spans civic service, entrepreneurial development, and educational administration. He serves as Entrepreneur Ecosystem Executive Director at AmPac Business Capital — helping deploy $1B+ in loans and support 1,500+ businesses across CA, AZ, and NV. In 2024, Assembly Majority Leader Emerita Eloise Gómez Reyes recognized him with the California District 50 · 30 Under 30 Award. He represents CA/AZ/NV small-business priorities on Capitol Hill via the CDFI Coalition Institute, co-facilitates state policy roundtables with CalOSBA and the California I-Bank, and serves as Student Success Counselor at Los Angeles College of Music.
